Shawn Boyer is the Founder and CEO of goHappy, the social media platform that helps you actually be social. Prior to goHappy, Shawn founded and was CEO of Snagajob, the nation’s largest marketplace for hourly workers and employers, from 2000-2013, and then Chairman of the Board through 2015. Shawn directed Snagajob’s rapid growth from an idea to a marketplace that now has over 75 million members and over 300,000 employer locations. Snagajob has been named to Fortune Magazine’s Great Place to Work® Best Small & Medium Workplaces list for eight straight years (including 5 top 10 finishes and a #1 ranking in 2011) and was a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 company for five consecutive years. In 2008, he was named the National Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration and received public recognition from President George W. Bush. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the Washington & Lee School of Law, and he received his LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. He has sat and continues to sit on a number of different non-profit boards.

Chris Davidson is Founder and President of IMPACT Advisory Group, based in Newport News, VA. Chris received his BBA from James Madison University in 2001 and has 16 years experience in sales management, training, and public speaking. His company, IMPACT is a corporate training and consulting firm which serves Fortune 1000 companies, institutions of higher learning, and government agencies. Chris believes in community service and helping others. He is an active member of Rotary International, having served as President of the Rotary Club of Newport News in 2012-13, and currently serving as District Membership Chair for Rotary District 7600. He also serves on the board of the Newport News Education Foundation. He was named one of Hampton Roads “Top 40 Under 40″ by Inside Business Magazine for 2014. Chris has been involved with Start Peninsula for the past three years as a coach & mentor for the Accelerator Courses, and is pleased to be serving as Emcee for Start Peninsula. Chris resides at Seaford, VA with his wife and two children.

Daniel R. Morris is an attorney/entrepreneur who is the current Executive Director at the Peninsula Technology Incubator, an innovation and business development technology incubator/accelerator wholly owned by the National Institute for Aerospace. Prior to his appointment as PTI’s director, Mr. Morris started Innovation, Technology and Business Solutions, LLC a consulting and business development company stimulating innovation and business opportunities in the commercialization of autonomous unmanned systems (UMS), including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Mr. Morris also founded and served as CEO of reQuire, LLC a unique – technology based – real estate mortgage lien release tracking service utilized nationwide in the residential real estate transaction market.. There he managed all aspects of the Company with direct responsibility for long-range strategic planning, product innovation, technology implementation, legal and regulatory navigation, and the overall profitability of the Company..
Mr. Morris graduated from Norfolk Academy in 1982. He studied International Marketing and Economics at Universitäte Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany, for a little over a year and obtained his B.A. in Economics and a B..A. in Modern Foreign Language, German from the University of Richmond in 1986. He obtained his J.D. in 1992, and completed his LL.M studies in international taxation at Regent University School of Law.

Austin Harris is a native of the Richmond, Virginia area and attended Wake Forest University, where he earned a degree in Analytical Finance. Austin began his career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch in New York City, then joined BB&T Capital Markets in Richmond where he worked for six years in investment banking, assisting middle market corporate clients with public equity offerings and mergers & acquisitions. As a runner and cyclist, Austin was drawn to the natural food / CPG industry and joined Health Warrior in 2012 to lead the company’s finances and operations during a period of rapid nationwide growth.
